The underwater archaeological site in Sinchang-ri, Jeju, attracted nationwide attention when dive women (haenyeo) discovered precious artifacts from ancient times including gold personal ornaments such as bangle and hairpin and Longquan celadon bowls of Southern Song. The submarine remains of Sinchang-ri in jeju was well-known through the nationwide when women diver, called haenyeo, founded ancient precious artifacts from the submarine in Sinchang-ri of Jeju. Most remains were celadon porcelain made by Longquan kiln of Southern Song period and a majority of them are bowl for daily use.
The gold bangle features a floral design decorating both ends each of which looks like an animal head. The hairpin is made by bending a long bar and has no decoration.
