Exploring social relations and revealing the author’s thoughts through exchanges between individuals are things we should do. In my opinion, we should depict people—not just individuals but the masses—interpersonal relations and even social relations. I have no idea how the West deals with this matter, which is why I personally like his Removing Fleas very much. By showing people as the subject, this painting reflects common people’s everyday life. This depiction of people interacting with each other makes the artwork more than just a demonstration of the painter’s personal skill; it also shows his opinions on and attitude toward life and society.
