Mr. Kaoru Saito digitalises the forests (The University of Tokyo Chichibu Forest; his research field) by integrating existing information on forest environment with videos and sounds, and develops data simulation of daily forest monitoring. He also engages in development research on the interface of communicational foundation for researchers and the public with applied network technology.
