Repairs were made to the decorative plasterwork on the Ground Floor with the assistance of George Jackson Ltd. (est. 1780), a specialist London plasterwork firm which still holds the largest collection of reverse cut hardwood moulds in the world. Missing sections of the lantern above the main staircase and the ceiling in the Portman Suite were replaced by fibre glass facsimiles as was a section of one of the column capitals in the entrance hall.
