Restored Chachapoya Architecture in Kuélap

One of the best conserved buildings in Kuélap was restored to its original shape including the coned roof made of a self-sustaining wooden structure covered by different layers of woven shapaya palm leaves. The roof is built on the ground and at the end placed on the building like a hat.
