Restoring La Purisima Mission

La Purisima Mission, established in 1787 near what is now Lompoc, California, is the most extensively restored mission in the Golden State. More than twenty buildings at the site, including the mission church itself, were restored between 1934-1942 by the National Park Service and the Civilian Conservation Corps.
