The dining room of the main house of the summer retreat of Roman architect Michele Busiri Vici and his family. Located on Monte Circeo, the promontory between Rome and Naples, the retreat consists of six houses creating a mini village by the sea, "Il Villaggio Marinaro." The room features plain white walls and beige floor tiles, which were handmade in Vietri sul Mare. Lining the walls on both sides of the room, is a collection of ceramic plates designed by Gambone. The dining table is a grained slab of African nut wood, while the chairs are red-lacquered and feature white cushions over rush seats. The table is set with sole-shaped plates in pink and aquamarine, designed by Busiri Vici himself. A large, wide window lights the room.
