Retreat Home of Michele Busiri Vici, Vogue

The living room of the main house of the summer retreat of Roman architect Michele Busiri Vici and his family. Located on Monte Circeo, the promontory between Rome and Naples, the retreat consists of six houses creating a mini village by the sea, "Il Villaggio Marinaro." Here, the living room features plain white walls and beige floor tiles, which were handmade in Vietri sul Mare. Both are highlighted by white gossamer curtains and a circular raffia rug woven in the nearby village of Fondi. The room is furnished with a white sofa, an antique wooden chair, and a coffee table created from the trunk of an oak tree.
