Reverend Merlin-Jones at St. Augustine Church

A view of the wooden, Gothic-style St. Augustine-by-the-Sea Church, located at 1227 Fourth Street with Reverend Ivan Morgan Merlin-Jones standing on the front steps. This was the original church built in 1887 by the Santa Monica Episcopalian congregation founded in 1875. Photograph inscribed (handwritten): "St. Augustine, 1227-4th St.; Tom Vandergrift."
