Revisit Korea Program for UN Veterans (Imjingak Memorial)

This photograph captures a 2012 event held as part of the “Revisit Korea Program” for UN Veterans. The event was held at Dora Observatory and Imjingak in Paju, Gyeonggi Province.

The Republic of Korea (ROK) government has designated November 11 as UN Veterans International Memorial Day. It continues to honor Korean War veterans and their families through various events, including sponsored visits to the ROK, as well as the presentation of medals and awards.
