Richard Fynderne Harpur Crewe (1880-1921) was the only son of Sir Vauncey Harpur Crewe, 10th Baronet, of Calke Abbey in south Derbyshire.

Richard took an interest in photography, motorcars and aeroplanes. Always of delicate health and died of cancer aged 40 in 1921, predeceasing his father Sir Vauncey Harpur Crewe. As there were no further surviving heirs of the 1st baronet in the male line, on the death of Sir Vauncey Harpur Crewe in 1924, the baronetcy became extinct. The estate passed to the descendants of Sir Vauncey's youngest daughter Frances. In 1985 the estate was passed into the care of the National Trust.
