Founded in the 1940s by two cousins, Remco Industries, Inc. made popular large-scale toys in the 1950s and 1960s. The name of the company derives from combining the first letters of the words "remote control" and reflects the feature of many of the toys it sold. This Mighty Casey ride-on train set ran on a 6-volt battery and belonged to the donor's son, born in 1970.
