Ring

This characteristic ring is one of the jewels made by Gargallo in the period of greatest dedication to goldsmithing, which was acquired or received as a gift by a friend of the artist and which has been transmitted from one generation to another, since the donors, from Aragonese ancestry, they are related to the Reventós family, whose friendship with the Gargallo continues to this day.

Gargallo had a second period, between 1925 and 1927, during which he returned occasionally to jewelry work, although with perhaps more sculptural intentions, as demonstrated by the characteristics and nature of the silver brooches he made at that time, small masks with the who probably tested the new concave structure of the works from his second copper period and for which he prepared some cardboard templates that may be the first of all.
