Kyiv, Ukraine

The ring’s bezel has a cut cone ornamented with small granules and thin wire. This gold wire is placed with the filigree technique and forms a weaving and rosette in the middle of the bezel. The casted hoop is massive and made of round wire. There`s an object inside the bezel. Perhaps, this exact ring was used as a rattle.
Rings of similar shape are rare findings in Scythian barrows. They were probably worn by men.
