The round ring with a cloud has been carved from a single piece of clear
amber. One of the most famous Lithuanian amber masters, Horstas Taleikis
(1912–1996), dedicated over 50 years to amber processing. His unique collection
of works reflects the path of creative discovery taken by Lithuanian amber
master craftsmen. He used hardly any metal or other materials in his works,
thereby stressing that amber in itself was already a noble material.
