Ermes Visconti (1784-1841), an influential exponent of Milanese culture in the early nineteenth century, a friend of Alessandro Manzoni, named heir to his brother Giuseppe, administrator of the Ciceri-Fatebenesorelle Hospital, establishing legacies for the Maggiore Hospital in Milan, the orphanages and the Ciceri-Fatebenesorelle Hospital (founded by his grandmother Laura Ciceri Visconti).
