Official vehicle for transportation of mail bought by private individual and transformed into transportation of people and luggage for trips and hunting expeditions. It belonged to Gustavo Ferreira Pinto Basto and was given to the museum by the family.

Very sturdy vehicle with body and wheels in black and green. The Pinto Basto Family Coat of Arms is painted on the doors. Two large lanterns are placed on the sides and the coachman's seat is up front with a small signalling lantern.

There are eight seats mounted on the hood, two on the rear, two in the back, four on the inside and one next to the coachman. Both in the rear and underneath the coachman's seat there are compartments to store mail and luggage. The access onto the body is made by unfolding footstep.
