The Langudi Hill at Jajpur, Odisha is among the oldest Buddhist sites both in Odisha and India, which dates to 3rd century BCE (few records tell 2nd century BCE).Once house to monks and scholars from the Indian Subcontinent and South-east Asia, it consists multiple ruins that include votive stupas, around 50 rock-cut Stupas, ruins of a monastery, sculptures, terracotta figurines, the base of a structural stupa, built with dressed laterite blocks and burnt bricks.
