Almost all of Homer's watercolors after 1900 are of Bermuda, the Bahamas, and Florida. He adapts his watercolor style to their light and atmosphere; his compositions become simpler and less descriptive of detail, his brush strokes broader and more fluid, and his colors brighter, clearer, and more transparent.
