Crispijn de Passe, the Younger was the son of the eminent Dutch engraver and publisher Crispijn de Passe, the Elder, who established a publishing house in Cologne that produced portraits of European nobility and other prints. Hortus Floriduswas one of Crispijn de Passe, the Younger's most well-known publications.
