King standing facing in ship holding sword and shield; one rope from prow and three from stern ; full-blown rose on side of ship, and at stern flag with letter E. Rev. IHG · AVT'. TRANSIENS · PER MEDIVM' ILLORV.' IBAT. m.m. crown. Within arched tressure with trefoil in each spandril, floriated cross with rose on sun in centre and lion surmounted by crown in each angle. Wt. 115.9 grains (7.51 grams). Bequeathed by Miss M. E. Waldo-Sibthorp. V&A no. 1586–1902.
