Rosehill, Coventry (female heads verso)

This watercolour painting of
Rosehill, Coventry in 1835 is by either Sara Hennell or her sister Cara Bray. It
shows the window with curtains almost as a lens looking out from the Brays’
house to the snowy winter scene. There is a sense of looking at the outside
world through an intimate and personal perspective.
