Rosetta Lenoire Award

The Rosetta LeNoire Award was established by the Actors Equity Association’s Council in 1988, to recognize those members who adhere to the union’s policy regarding non-traditional casting and increasing diversity within the theatre. The award was named in honor of actress Rosetta LeNoire for her work with the Council, previously known as the Actors Equity Association’s Ethnic Minorities Committee. Lin-Manuel Miranda was the recipient in 2018.
