Rosine Stoltz was a famous French opera singer of the nineteenth century who developed an important career at the Opera of Paris.

Stoltz was in Portugal, where she made her debut at the Teatro de São Carlos, on January 5, 1851, playing the character Arsace in the premiere of the opera "Semiramide" by Rossini.
