Museum personnel stayed for several months with residents of the New Zealand weather station on this sub-Antarctic Island Campbell Island in 1958-59. Background artist William "Bill' Trayer was also present and created this beautiful landscape. Nine species of albatross live on islands off the sub-Antarctic seas or adjacent seas.
