The Committee for Building K9ing Rama I's Memorial had a resolution on 24 May 1931. Prince Damrong, the committee, drafted the announcement for donation. The announcement was made in 3 languages: Thai, English, and Chinese. The Chinese version was translated from Thai by Phra Chen Chin Aksara (Sudchai Tandakasa).
