A blue coloured Royal Enfield Bike, comprising of high compression 350/500 CC two stroke engine, an exposed valve gear, solid and rigid frames, four speed Albion gear box and extra lever.

It also has a fully floating white metal big end, with usual felt oil seals, Amal carburetor and Lucas magneto ignition. The logo of the company is on the fuel tank. The Royal Enfield bikes incorporated a design element called ‘swing arm suspension’, this was the feature which along with the single cylinder engine allowed it to excel as a trial bike.

Originally introduced in Britain, the sale of Royal Enfield bikes started in 1949 in India, this resulted in the end of the search for a Policeman’s bike in 1955, when the Indian Government chose the Enfield as most suitable for the purpose.
