Biography:
Freelance photographer Rick Stevens, twice winner of the Australian Press Photographer of the Year Award, is a former senior photographer with the Sydney Morning Herald. His assignments have included the Darwin Cyclone, the Port Arthur Massacre, royal tours to Australia, papal visits to Australia, and Papua New Guinea, the Bali bombings, the Olympic Games in both Barcelona and Sydney, the wedding of Mary Donaldson to Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark in Copenhagen, and the Torch Relay for the Beijing Olympics. His current clients include Reuters, Taronga Western Plains Zoo, the Lowy Institute, NSW Law Society, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Sydney Olympic Park Authority, Barangaroo Delivery Authority and Chief Executive Women.
