A hand woven pile rug of variously sized 2-ply hand spun wool yarns_warp, weft and pile; Tibetan looping technique (rather than knots) used in creating the pile; central yellow medallion on a red ground surrounded by concentric geometric borders in light blue, green, and darker blue also on a red ground; - 4" wide blue border of longer (3 1/2 ") pile/fringe around all four edges of the rug.
