A hand woven pile rug of hand spun wool yarns; Tibetan looping technique (rather than knots) used in creating the pile; geometric central medallion tan surrounded by a red and blue intertwining ring on a dark blue filed; green knot corner motifs; border composed of a narrow blue band followed a wider dark blue band with white spots (pearl border), and another narrow medium blue band, this surrounded by a wide tan band patterned with widely spaced flower-like geometric motifs, a narrow blue band and a final wider dark blue band.
