Ruins of dominican church

In the mid-16th century, a stone monastery church of the Dominican Fathers was built. The church operated for 400 years until it was destroyed by the Soviet military during the capture of Belz in 1944. Only fragments of the powerful walls of the shrine have survived to this day, with only the bell tower standing near the ruins of the church and the former Dominican monastery house, which was eventually turned into the town hall.
