Teachers Against Racism (TAR)

Teachers Against Racism (TAR) Journal volumes 1, number 1 and 2. Volume 1, number 1 includes articles on racial discrimination in school and Black studies. Volume 1, number 2 includes articles on racism in children's literature and TAR's campaign against the "Little Black Sambo" books. Teachers Against Racism was an English group formed to promote anti-racism in education. Their most famous campaign was against the publication of Little Black Sambo.
