Röntgen tube with fixed anode

Röntegen tube with fixed anode and additional electrode, manufactured by G.B. Paravia in Turin, mainly used for teaching purpose: it allows to reproduce the experience of Röntgen of X-ray generation. Commonly named X-ray tube it is a vacuum tube producing X-rays. The availability of this controllable source of X-rays created the field of radiography.
