Rīgas Latviešu biedrības nams

Riga Latvian Society House Merķeļa Street 13 was built in 1869-1872; designed by architect J. F. Baumann's project. House burnt down in a fire on June 19, 1908. From 1870 in the house worked a senior Latvian Theatre - Riga Latvian Theatre (founded in 1868, lead by originally actor and director Ādolfs Alunāns). New Riga Latvian Society House was built in the place of burnt-down house in 1909 by architect E. Poles project.
