This wood reproduction of the S.S. Siam is on display in the Industrial Arts Gallery. Owned by the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Co., the S.S Siam sailed between London and Australia, via the Middle East and India, carrying passengers and cargo.

The ship was in service from 1875 to 1895. This model was created by Dayal Kanjee, a young apprentice at the Mazgaon docks, where this ship was docked in 1890 for repairs.
