Sabah said: "I want to take up space in my hometown and queer my streets. I am privileged to have a house where I am comfortable, safe and I have space to be myself. I am in a community that is rich in South Asian culture, so much of me is reflected around me. And I have so much to be proud of right here. No matter what I am wearing or how loud I am, existing as a queer Muslim and gender non-conforming person of colour at home is radical and political and nothing can change that."
