Complete reconstructed Sacaton Red-on-buff ceramic scoop. Surfaces are micaceous, and relatively smooth. Rim is worn on left front due to use. This scoop was recovered as part of a salvage project conducted before the construction of a storm drain on the grounds of Pueblo Grande. Pueblo Grande was a large village site located at the headgates of a major canal system occupied as early as AD 500.
