Sacred Ganges

For “Sacred India,” Verner travelled to Northern India to photograph street life and portraits of people in their everyday lives. He aimed to capture what he refers to as “the happiness and spiritual connection in his Indian subjects’ lives that is not often experienced in the West.” The series includes portraits of holy sadhus, working people and people at the sacred Ganges.
