A polychrome and gilded wooden sculpture with glass eyes, it dates from the late 18th or early 19th century. The sculpture is 52 cm tall and 27 cm wide.
It was seized by the Federal Police in São Paulo in 2003. It is currently in the custody of the Museu Mineiro, where it remains protected and accessible to the public. Proof of its provenance is essential for its return to its place of origin.
