Often found in a book of hours, the Litany of Saints is a simple, repetitive prayer that lists the saints. The reader would say the name of each saint aloud followed by the petition: ora pro nobis (pray for us). This book of hours is unusual in that it includes an illustrated Litany, with an image of each saint next to his or her name.
