Sculpture representing the first martyrs of the Franciscan Order, tortured and decapitated in Morocco. Santo António de Lisboa, who met them in Coimbra, when he learned of his martyrdom, asked permission of the Pope to exchange the Order of St. Augustine for the Franciscans.
