Saint Michael the Archangel

This
  panel is a refined and elitist item "for a private room", essential
  example of Milanese painting, and a masterpiece by Cerano. There is still no definite information about the
  client. Discovering his identity would be useful to understand the choice of
  subject and above all its interpretation, given the unusual iconography of
  the demon split into two figures on either side of the Archangel.
