Saint Peter of Alcantara Appears to Saint Theresa

Inspired in an engraving by Pedro de Villafranca. Saint Teresa wears the Carmelite habit and is sitting in front of a lectern with a book and a pen. On it, Saint Peter of Alcántara appears in the sky with a Franciscan habit and open arms. On the lower right side, a scene of the saint's life is depicted when he walked on the waters of a river in the company of another monk.
