18th century Venetian room

Fondazione Museo Miniscalchi-Erizzo

Fondazione Museo Miniscalchi-Erizzo
Verona, Italy

The room takes its name from the furniture, consisting of a group of Venetian furniture of the 18th century, lacquered and painted.
Among these we point out a rare example of sideboard lacquered in aquamarine green and painted with plant motifs and two allegorical female figures, representing Music and Astronomy, with the fake marble top, a pretty sedan decorated with gallant scenes of exquisitely arcadic taste and a double-movement concert harp (1830 circa) of the Maison Erard.
