Sala di Amore e Psiche - Ceiling

The magnificent ceiling looks like it is falling on the scenes painted on the underlying walls. thanks to the geometric variations of its composition. Amore and Psiche's story is painted in the ceiling eight octagons and twelve lunette, decorated in golden stuccos. The central square portraits Psiche finally welcomed in the Olympus, thereby becoming immortal and entitled to marry Amore.
