Samadhi is the funerary, and hold the relics of the Sikh ruler of Punjab, Ranjit Singh. The samadhi was started by Kharrak Singh on the location of the funeral pyre and completed by his youngest son Dulip Singh in 1848. The building exemplifies Sikh architecture. It has fluted domes, cupolas and an ornate balustrade around the top.
