A walking Sami woman in traditional clothing. She has a backpack and a traditional sewing kit. She is walking with a young boy. Turf huts, ents and a mountain landscape in the background. Made from a drawing by Vincent Stoltenberg Lerche.

It was normal for an artist to copy art from others, especially with the use of a print. Prints were easy to transport and made the art available for more people. Lithography is a method of printing where a plate made of limestone or some other soft stone is covered with wax, drawn on with acid, then again with paint, then used as a printing plate.
