A woodblock print by the Japanese artist Utagawa Sadafusa (Active 1825-50) titled Samoerai Kajiwara Kagesue. The work is of Kajiwara Kagesue (1162-1200), a Samurai and it was published by Aritaya Seiemon. Kajiwara Kagesue was a samurai in the Heian period and fought during the Genpei War for the Minamoto Clan. He was killed in 1200 along with his father at Suruga by the men loyal to Minamoto no Yoriie (1182-1204) the second Shogun of Japan from 1202 to 1203.
