Viewing Notes: Multiple Choice: From Sample to ProductThe large scale of this design indicates that the embroidery was intended for a coat. While most skilled designers remained nameless, this sample was embroidered in a style reminiscent of Jean-François Bony, whose particular talent was creating embroidery designs for court dress.
