Long narrow sampler dated 1645 near the top. Motifs include the Sibmacher agn-- dei near the op. Probably made following a 19th century pattern book. Two lengths sewn together with decorative needle-made join. Third short length of twill damask attached with attached braided fringe.

- Viewing Notes: A loomed width of cotton block patterned 3&1 twill damask, the wefts of which were removed in two sections: first for a narrow band of needlework, second for long warp fringe interworked.
